Conference Venue

The conference will take place at the main auditorium of the Faculty of Law (Juridicum) of the University of Vienna, where a maximum of 350 participants can sit comfortably.  Each seat provides its own desk and wireless internet connection is available. During breaks we will relocate to the lobby (outside the auditorium) where poster walls, catering and areas for rest and discussion will be provided.

The Juridicum is a modern building not far from the University main building. The address is Schottenbastei 10-16, 1010, Vienna close to the underground station Schottentor (U2 line), which also connect to many trams and bus lines. It is located within the historical center of the city and many hotels and other attractions are at walking distance.

How to get there

Besides the underground line U2, the following tram lines connect directly to Schottentor: D, 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 & 71. The buses number 1A and 40A also have their stops here.

For additional connections, we suggest to consult the Wienerlinien.at website. We also recommend to buy the weekly ticket which costs EUR 15.80 and can be used any number of times within the main zone of Vienna (airport is outside of this area). The ticket can be bought online or directly at the dispenser machines located at each underground station.
